It's not easy to post this for a second time in our 8 year adventure. But we will once again be closing. I never imagined that owning a rattery was something I would have to one day end for good. It was my goal to be one of those breeders who was known by many as an ethical and great place to go to for well bred rats. It was my goal to do this until I physically could not anymore. We have one very last litter to home and that that will be the end of Ivory chapel Rattery.
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who messaged or commented or just checked in randomly throughout the years. Those interactions meant more to me than I can put into words and I appreciated them so very much.
My main reasoning is space. I have a family of four and a three bedroom home. Financially we just don't have the ability to get a shed spec'd out to hold the rattery and we need the third room. If we could get that I would love love love to continue but it's sadly not an option for me currently. (But possibly in a few years)
If you are looking for older females or males please shoot me a PM as we have lots available that will be needing pet homes and I will post them all by this weekend.
Once the rats are gone I have two critter nations and a rat rack I will also be selling as well as bottles, hours, homemade bins, etc.
I will also be keeping the page up but marked as temporarily closed. Maybe in a few years I can spec a shed and begin breeding again.
However,
Thank again for all of the love, support, and friendship you have given me throughout the years. I cannot put into words how much you have all helped me through difficult times.
It was also amazing to see how the community of rat lovers could get together and just be good people. 💙
****I will CONTINUE to be active here and I will stay in the Florida rat breeders group I created so that you can always come here to post updates and ask and questions as well as have help finding ethical breeders if you are wanting that help ****
