The second Camper we want to highlight for shelter and rescue appreciation week is Trucker Mama. Her furever parents, Howard & Tina, shared their story of how this sweet girl came into their lives!
“We were ready. We missed having a dog in our home. We did some searching on various rescue sights online and found some younger, medium sized dogs we wanted to meet. The day came, we were so excited. We walked up and were greeted by 55 pounds of pure muscle and love, aka Trucker Mama. It was game over. We adopted Trucker that day. She has quickly fit into our home and we are her people. Do you know how hard it is to get out of bed and go to work when that sweet face is just wanting you to stay and give all the loves? We are so thankful with Two by Two Rescue and Trucker’s foster Krystyn. They take the time to get to know the animals and their personalities. Trucker is a perfect fit for us.”
Trucker Mama was found at a truck stop and that’s how the rescue picked her name, but you would never know that now. She is a ball of energy and makes friends with everyone she meets! We are so glad to have Howard, Tina, & Trucker as part of the 🩵🐾
