We have been open continuously since 2007 and as of 2026 have six groomers on staff. Together, they offer 75 yrs experience for your pup! The Rub-a-Dub-Dog Bathhouse and Spa is centrally located in the Downtown Homewood area of Birmingham, Alabama. We offer grooming and bathing services for dogs by appointment only in a cage-free environment. Your dog receives one-on-one attention from one of our experienced groomers.

Thanks for your patience as we navigate the current parking situation. The Pig will be great once it is complete, but we are struggling to meet our needs with construction and staff vehicles all being redirected to our lot. We have pulled out our signs from the pandemic to reserve space for those with dogs, but sometimes that doesn't help! If you cannot find a spot, TEXT US at (205) 236-3924, and we'll provide curbside service. The groomers can see texts, whereas phone calls only reach the front desk. Thanks again!
