Hello everyone. I’m delighted to present the finished of Suki’s Birthday dress. I thoroughly enjoyed designing and sewing it, and it’s a testament to the quality of work that can be achieved when one’s passion is channeled into their craft. The dress turned out beautifully, and Suki looks lovely in it. Pictures of her wearing the dress will be shared after her Birthday photo shoot. Next, I’ll be working on designing a headpiece to complement the dress. Stay tuned.

I have completed Part 2 of Suki’s Birthday Dress as per my vision. The dress is now fully sewn, with the bodice attached to the three-tier skirt, tulle added to the waistline corners, and a waistband securely in place. Additionally, I have incorporated velcro for ease of use and attached ruffle sleeves to the bodice. Pending receipt of the brooch backing, I will finalize the brooch adorned with blink crystals and affix it to the bodice. The addition of three sea shells to the waistband and securing character clay to the shells will mark the completion of this project. I am delighted with the outcome, despite the challenges posed by designing and fabric selection online. Suki’s photo shoot will surely showcase the dress’s vibrant colors.

Suki’s 5th Birthday is in May. Started to create her dress early, as she will be in a doggie pageant in June and need to create her wardrobe for the pageant. This is a update on Suki’s Birthday dress project. Below is the current status of the design and sewing work, along with the pending tasks. I have received the blink pearls today, which will be used to create a brooch to attach to the bodice. However, sequins are still pending delivery, which may take some time. This is just a sneak preview, to give you an idea of my vision. Until is not fully completed, you cannot appreciate the dress. Like how the dress is coming along so far.

Made already:
✅Bodice partially made,
✅Skirt partially made, and
✅Sleeves made.

Pending tasks:
🪡Tulle Skirt construction,
🪡Waistband creation,
🪡Sea Shells production,
🪡Adding clay characters,
🪡Crafting a Blink Brooch,
🪡Attaching Hook and Loop Fasteners, and
🪡Final assembly.
