I heard what you said about me the first time, and frankly, you couldn’t be more wrong.
If you believe all that nonsense that everyone likes to say about me, then join the club.
I have plenty of haters and that’s okay by me.
I’ll never be everyone’s favorite flavor, I accepted that a long time ago.
For most of them, I’m “too much.”
Too much opinion.
Too much strength.
Too much passion.
And that’s okay- they’re not my people- I don’t need anyone’s permission or approval to be happy and live my life.
For the wrong ones, I’ll always be the things they can’t handle or don’t understand…
And I get that.
The ones that truly get me will always love me for who I am and appreciate the person I’ve worked hard to become.
They watched me fight, struggle and claw my way through the biggest challenges and keep going.
They cheered me on when I took on the world and held my hand through the hardest storms.
That’s the thing about me- I’m not afraid to face anything alone because I’ve done that my whole life…
I’ve never had any other choice than to be strong.
It was either sink or swim, so I did whatever I had to do to keep going and keep my head above water.
Most people will never get that about me because they weren’t there during the hard times..
And that’s okay.
I know who I am and what I’m capable of.
With fire in my heart and passion in my soul, there’s nothing I can’t do..
So, before you call me stubborn, difficult or too much, you might want to think again.
We both know you’re mispronouncing “amazing,” but I guess the question is..
Are you strong enough to keep up with me?
Don’t worry if you can’t.
Most never can.
