In this online course, we introduce Scent & Play: a dynamic and sensory-rich approach where horses and humans are invited to explore, co-create, and grow together.

Rather than working through fixed protocols, Scent & Play offers a flexible framework that honours individual needs — of the client, the horse, and the professional.
Scent-based activities awaken the senses and help ground participants in the here-and-now. Play becomes a way to explore emotion, expression and joy — without pressure or performance.

The work is always trauma-sensitive. Clients are never pushed, always invited. Safety, agency and attunement form the foundation. And the horse is not a passive presence, but a participating partner, with space to express and respond freely. In Scent & Play, learning flows from experience. It’s an approach that grows from curiosity, creativity, and the quiet magic of shared exploration.
