Truly a special, amazing dog. She raised four litters of amazing puppies, lived in three homes in her life and gave 100% every day. She is the last of the dogs trained by my mother, though I finished both her Master and HRCH titles. When it came time to retire her, Keno went to live with my niece and brother.

She was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Her great, great grandpuppies are with me now. And no doubt will make amazing family dogs, hunting partners and excel in obedience, hunting tests, nose work trials.

She was the grandest of granddams, the best of the best and the last of the dogs trained and competed by my mother. I know my mother has welcomed her with open arms.

Hug your dogs extra today...they are truly not with us long enough.
I am grateful to have a little bit of Keno in all my girls. May she rest in peace where the ducks are always flying and the hunters never miss. Give Ivy a kiss from me...

How is it that we still have two males...not yet spoken for??? LOL! They are 4 weeks old tomorrow...and getting cuter every day. These pups will make excellent hunters, family dogs, agility, obedience, rally, nosework...and all the above!

High drive parents with great 'off switch' at home! Stacked pedigree, OFA guarantee and a highly heterozygous pedigree with low Coefficient of Inbreeding (for those genetic nerds!). No history of CCL issues, genetically clear of known genetic diseases. A lot of 'bang for the buck' on this litter!

Independent. Talented. Smart, maybe too smart! Comical. Sweet, loving Ivy. She wasn't the dog I thought I wanted...but definitely the dog I have learned the most from.
Humility....always a good lesson. Ivy had a way of making you think we had it all worked out. Only to go off on her own adventure! Sometimes to find the dead rat buried in the dirt and other times to check out the bowls in the Rally Ring (Nationals!). She earned 4 Master Passes, but the 5th alluded us with injuries and too much time off for raising litters. She was an amazing mother dog, it is such a joy to see her pups excel.

She was the 5th generation of our chocolate bloodlines.
Cancer Sucks.

RIP Ivy. May the ducks always be flying and the hunters never miss. You were loved, adored and always appreciated for the independent....comical dog you were. My morning coffee is safe!
