When one of your babies gets to a certain point in their life, you want to make sure they have as good of an experience as possible.. Murphy used to bite for his front legs and feet and also never let me use my clippers on his face. He would get aggressive with certain things, but as he’s gotten older, he just doesn’t seem like he has the energy for it anymore.
When a groomer notices a dog changing their behavior during grooming, after working with them for years, you know that you need to change how you groom them. Murphy is a strong-willed boy and I will keep going as long as he lets me. ❤️
I’m proud of our journey and especially proud of him for pushing through these grooms because it seems like he knows he needs it done ❤️

Dear Valued Clients,

First and foremost, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for all the love and support over the past couple years. I’m incredibly grateful for the trust you've placed in me and for the wonderful pups I get to care for every day! 🐶❤️

As of now, my schedule is completely booked for the remainder of the year. I’m currently working extended hours to accommodate as many of my existing clients as possible. With over 170 individual pups on my rotation, rescheduling has become quite limited, but please know I’m doing my very best to fit everyone in where I can.

As a one-on-one grooming service, I pride myself on giving each dog the dedicated time and attention they deserve. This ensures high-quality grooming in a calm, unrushed environment tailored to each pup’s needs. ❤️

Effective immediately, I will not be accepting any new clients until further notice. (Although, I will still accept nail trim appointments!)

Additionally, please remember how important it is to arrive on time for your appointments. Each slot is carefully scheduled, and delays can affect the rest of the day’s appointments. It is also just as important for pick up times as well, so i am not taking my attention away from the next pup on my table. I truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

These last couple weeks have been hard for the For Pup Sake family. We lost three amazing, beautiful babies who deserved to live a lot longer than they did 😭💔 these three are all the way from my Petco days and stayed on a consistent schedule for the 7-8 years Ive been grooming them. Charlie, Molly, and Billie.. I will miss you guys so much. You were some of the best pups I’ve had the privilege of grooming for so many years. I’ll miss Charlie’s side-eye, Mollys sweet demeanor, and Billie’s howling.. Rest in paradise, sweet babies❤️

I had the privilege of grooming this adorable foster boy, Milton yesterday. He was very very nervous and it seemed like he probably hadn’t been groomed much or ever in his life so we went very, very slow. He was such a sweetheart. Milton had a mass removed from his back recently but he is thriving in his foster home and looking for his forever home ❤️ He’s available at New Leash on Life and rocking his new do hoping to find a new family to call his own 🥰
