Dogs Without Borders is a 501c3 non-profit, small dog rescue that saves homeless & abandoned dogs from high-kill shelters in the Los Angeles area, and find them permanent and loving homes. We require an adoption application and a home-check. Our adoption fees are listed on our website. All dogs are spayed/ neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to adoption, and come with a DWB ID tag.

Nina is 17 weeks old and weighs around 10.5 lbs.

Nina is a sweet and affectionate puppy searching for her forever home! Cuddling is her absolute favorite thing to do, and she loves being close to her people. She’s also very smart and quick to learn; she’s already p*e pad potty trained.💜

When it’s time for some alone time, Nina is wonderfully independent, happy to play on her own or relax in her crate. Nina loves playing with her toys and her foster brother!🐾

Paco is the definition of a perfect dog. He is the perfect size. We’ve never heard him bark, and he seems to love all dogs and all people. 🤩

He is very kid-friendly. He has hung out with 2 and 4-year-olds and did great! He even enjoyed their hugs and kisses.

Paco has no separation anxiety; he just sleeps in his bed when his humans are gone (doggie cam verified). He’s a major sweetie boy who loves to cuddle and take long walks (and keeps a good pace!).

He’s great on the leash; he doesn’t pull. He’s a happy guy—bonus points for snaggletooth. Fantastic ears. Smart. Potty trained. He’s truly the whole package!

Lego is still looking for his forever home! 🏡🌟

Lego is 5 years old and 10 lbs, and he needs another dog in the home. He is a sweet pup who is still looking for his forever home. He can be shy at first or in a crowded area, but once he settles in, he will be your best friend.

He was rescued from a hoarding situation where he was being kept with over 20 small dogs in an RV 😞. He did not have structure or socialization in his young life. When his people are close, he’s very content, quiet as a mouse, and happy to snooze. He’s a velcro dog and grows quickly attached to his people. He’s very gentle and affectionate, and gets along well with his foster siblings! 🐶💞

🔊Foster Needed for Sunmi‼️

Sunmi is a sweet and gentle dog who starts off shy but warms up within a day or two. She is looking for a quiet adult only household with another dog and hopefully a yard (not required, but she does get scared of walking in busy neighborhoods).

She gets along well with other dogs🐶, minds her business unless they want to play with her. She loves napping and is very calm in the house but it's clear that she likes exercise. She will make a loyal adventure companion (but also a couch potato🥔).

Although she loves walking, putting the leash on makes her a bit nervous. She's a decent walker but does pull a little bit. She is a bit triggered when pulled in a direction too quickly, so just call her name with a gentle tug. She is looking for a calm environment with another dog! She gets scared in busy neighborhoods so ideally somewhere outside of the city life would be great!🐶🏡

Sadly, she has been in foster care for over 8 months and still hasn’t had one adoption application for her. She is now in need of a new foster home!🙏

Our Story

We are a non-profit, Los Angeles Dog Rescue pulling small breeds from local shelters and working with international rescuers to re-home at-risk dogs from overseas.

We screen potential applicants to make sure the dog is right fit for their home. We require an adoption application and a home-check. Our adoption fees for adult dogs are $325 (puppies 6mo-1year are $350. Puppies under 6 months are $425). All dogs are spayed/ neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped prior to adoption, and come with a DWB ID tag.
