FASTCAT fun runs and scentwork today :)

As always Bee is the speed queen laying down a 7.17!

Dito and Georgia caught on quick and hopefully they will get to start working on their BCATs soon!

Beauty and I struggled to communicate in our first element today, but then we clicked in the next two and had some nice qualifying excellent runs! Looking forward to more sniffing fun tomorrow!

Honey got to check out a scentwork trial for the first time and a fairgrounds. She found it a bit overwhelming, but settled in and made a few new friends by the end of the day. She also played with the practice boxes finding birch and anise. Smart little lady!

Also we had great fun with Aunt Karli and our doggie friends playing with scentwork today! Logo came to join us with his mom and brother Tux plus our two lagotto doggie friends came too! Hoping now that the weather is nice to get everyone consistent in their scentwork training šŸ¤ž

In the morning, Bird will meet his new mom and head out to his new home in Oregon!

To say we will miss this boy is an understatement. Heā€™s truly become a member of the family over the last two months. Weā€™ll cherish the extra time we had to get to know this sweet, goofy boy forever šŸ’• While we wish he could stay, we know he will thrive with his new mom and dad and have a lot of amazing adventures!

Yesterday ā€œgrandmaā€ came to say goodbye and today we enjoyed a long walk around the farm, a fun training session, and his first pup cup at the one and only Cookā€™s Dairy!

We are going to spend the rest of the night soaking up all the cuddles we can with him!

Hereā€™s to your next chapter Bird! I know youā€™re going to soar ā¤ļøšŸ•ā¤ļø

What a day at the AABC UKC show in Shipshewana!!

Bee started the day earning her first weight pull title (UWP)!

Then she went on to win 2 Best of Breeds with Group 2 & 3 placements. Earning a Total Dog Award!

I also entered her in the Triple Crown class which judges which dog is the best all around example of confirmation, performance and health testing achievements. Iā€™m extremely honored to say Bee won the Triple Crown Best in Show!

Gordie ended the day strong for us winning Best Puppy in Show!

Dito is still regaining his confidence about the stand for exam. Heā€™s at the age where taking a break and hormonal maturing is an interesting combination. He was happy and showed a lot of improvement! Iā€™m sure heā€™ll be back to his winning ways shortly. Itā€™s nice heā€™s letting his aunt shine in the meantime ;)

Boys day! TSC trip for Bird and pack walk for Dito.

Bird didnā€™t even care when the door alarm went off as we were getting our cart, but a TSC employee who moved to quick next to us in the aisle was suspicious he says!

Dito had a fantastic time sniffing, practicing some obedience skills and seeing lots of people and dogs!

Bird had his last vet visit before he flies to his new home next week. We canā€™t wait to meet his mom! We have grown extra attached to him with his longer stay. Heā€™s really become a part of the family, but heā€™s going to thrive with the extra one on one attention his new mom and dad will be able to give him!

Honey was very excited to be back at the vet clinic and Beauty was her usual well behaved self.

These puppies grow up way too fast!

It was barn hunt day with the crew! The car is full so Beauty has been upgraded to co-pilot. Sheā€™s decided sheā€™s a pointer when she hunts now- freeze, point, waitā€¦attack! Sheā€™s also finding them all and then going back and alerting in order of how special she thinks each rat is šŸ¤£ I can always count on her to keep things interesting!

Today it was Birdā€™s turn for some one on one time! He took a walk downtown after running errands with me. Some of our interesting encounters were a house with lots of wind chimes on a windy day, a German Shepherd also out for a walk, and a police officer. Heā€™s got a big adventure ahead of him in 2 weeks, so all the exposure is great for him! (His ears are also starting to think up againā€¦itā€™s a funny/cute ear stage for sure!)
