This massive 8" girl is Genie...one of our first tarantulas, she matured last spring and this week she molted again which is perfect breeding timing for a mature male we just got.

Our daughter was barely two years old when we got Genie and we will always remember her calling it "genicuwawa" cause she couldn't pronounce geniculata 😂

We don't handle our tarantulas but sometimes they end up on us during housings. This little Poecilotheria regalis had a good time in my sleeve, armpit and back, we are basically best friends now.

Not spider related but going to see MGK on tour in Raleigh on Tuesday. My 4 year old is beyond excited for her first concert of her favorite artist.
