Grooming isn’t always a perfect haircut, Bows in their hair, them prancing out to show their pet parent how cute they are.
Sometimes it means doing the best we can for them when they are elderly. It may mean a good bath to make them feel nice and clean. Or to keep those nails cut so to not cause problems walking for them. Cutting some hair here and there to make them as comfortable as we can. Not everyone sees this part of grooming.. but we do, and we do whatever it takes to make it as easy on them as possible, even if it means sitting them in our laps on the table. 🫶🏼❤️

Had the honor of grooming this stellar boy today!! He sure has come a long way as he was picked up by Cherokee animal control after someone called in to report a situation of animal neglect. And lead to the arrest and prosecution of the owner .

When they got him he weighed only 29 lbs. and he is a big boy. You could see every bone in his body. And was missing almost all his hair. He had to get blood transfusion and be put on a meal plan for him to be able to put weight back on him. And get him healthy!!
He is Amazing!!! And so are all the people that had anything to do with his long journey of getting a second chance at life!!
Dogs are  resilient, forgiving , and always show unconditional love !! So an honor to groom him is an understatement. I honestly think he was so proud!! Didn’t know what we were doing some of the process but still trusted us!
So thank you Mr. Man! Dogs do more for us than they know sometimes! ❤️
