I’ve been meaning to post this for a while. Because we do soooo many different things around here it all can get confusing. So here are the answers!

🐶 We are an LLC that offers dog training. I want to clairfy that because many people call asking if we are a rescue. We train dogs for rescues. We help fundraise for rescues. And we have a tendency to go a little above and beyond for rescues 😅 But we are not a rescue. We always wanted to start a nonprofit, and I know we will one day. But right now we have our hands full with training.

🐴 We also train horses. But that’s not part of our current business. And the horses (and pony) you see here are NOT for sale. They never will be. They’re my friends ❤️

🫶🏻 My name is Taylor! I’m Melody’s mom and Edgar’s wife. I take care of the farm and run the office. Many of you have talked to me, but I rarely meet anyone haha. I stay very busy at the farm taking care of everyone. I make sure everything is safe and clean and the dogs are well taken care of during training here.

🦋 Melody is almost three years old. She helps with all the animals and has started helping Edgar train the dogs. You might see her at follow up sessions. She is literally part of the staff here as our Brand Ambassador.

Any other questions never hesitate to ask! ❤️ We love having visitors and look forward to helping people with their dogs. We’re always evolving and changing and learning new things.

Praying for a miracle today for Waylon 🫶🏻🤞🏻🙏🏻

Waylon is completing three weeks of training with us. He’s changed from a wild, carefree puppy to a well-mannered, loving, young dog. He’s a one year old black lab mix. He returns to ARRF - Animal Relief & Rescue Fellowship tomorrow if he doesn’t find an adopter or foster.

Waylon is house and kennel trained. He walks so nicely on a leash that our 2.5 year old daughter walks him around the stores. He’s very sensitive and wants to please. He loves EVERYONE. All dogs and humans. He would make a perfect family dog. He is also on the lazy side.

Sweet, sweet Waylon had two potential adopters that fell through. Maybe third time is the charm ❤️ He finishes up his training next week. If he’s not adopted (or has a foster) he will have to go back to the shelter. Is anyone out there interested in helping the absolute sweetest one year old black lab mix? Call me at 662-403-1180 for more info. He is good with all people, kids and dogs. He is playful but lazy. And he’s completing three weeks of training here.

Part of the reason Waylon would have to go back to the shelter is that we have three other foster dogs here right now. I know a lot of people think once they come here they’re “safe”. And while that’s technically true, they are not home. And it keeps us from being able to help more dogs.

Well we had an eventful Sunday! Unfortunately I lost my beloved female peahen last week. So I went to a farm market in search of a new one. I didn’t find any. But I did spot a beautiful little Aussie pup! I knew someone that was looking for one. So I scooped him up and took him home! He’s headed to a wonderful farm in Oregon with his forever family soon. We also took two puppies in training with us. We love taking them to markets to work on leash training and exposure to new things. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
