Sagebrook Stables welcomes trainer Emily Smith!❤️

One full training or two part training opportunities are available at Sagebrook Stables with our trainer Emily Smith.

Emily has ridden competitive dressage for over ten years and has her USDF Bronze and Silver medals. Additionally, she had her National B rating from the United States Pony Club. Successfully competing in both the national and CDI rings, Emily brings an elevated level of experience and education to every training and instruction session.

Her undeniable passion for both the horse and the sport shows through in her empathetic training philosophy. The horse's welfare and enjoyment always come first--no exceptions. This belief shows through in her happy and succesful horses. Emily has worked with young riders, adult amateurs and other professionals, as well as a variety of different breeds of horses.

Being a Veterinarian is Challenging. We’re Racing to Help.

Studies have shown that veterinarians are 1.6-2.4 times and veterinary technicians 2.3-5 times more likely than the general public to die by su***de. According to the Merck Veterinary Wellbeing Study, the percentage of veterinary professionals suffering from serious psychological distress has increased since 2019.

Not One More Vet (NOMV) was founded in 2014 as a Facebook group in response to the death by su***de of a beloved veterinarian, Dr. Sophia Yin. The support network grew quickly, and in 2017 NOMV became a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

NOMV is a community dedicated to improving the wellbeing of veterinary professionals. NOMV serves every member of the veterinary community with support services including: vet tech students, veterinary students, support staff, vet techs, and veterinarians. NOMV also provides pet parents and owners with education about the wellbeing of the veterinary teams who keep their animals safe and healthy.

☀️Introducing Three Horse Farm at Gilroy Gaits!!☀️

We would like to officially welcome our newest addition to the facility, Three Horse Farm with head trainer, Lizzy Green. We are thrilled to have Lizzy and her team join us at Gilroy Gaits! Clink below to learn more about everything they have to offer!

This coming June: Three Horse Farm will be accepting new clients for the first time in several years! We are a boutique Hunter jumper training program with individualized attention from Elizabeth Green, our head trainer. A small barn feel with big barn results, we offer competitive training in a supportive and stress-free environment.
Our luxurious home at Gilroy Gaits, just 40 minutes from San Jose, affords us the ability to offer our horses the absolute best care. They enjoy oversize stalls, personalized diets, ample large turnout and a private jumping arena. During the rainy season their stalls are mud free, and they are able to keep cool heads as they continue their training in a large covered arena, turnout, and Euro walker.
