NEW CLASS - CANINE CARE
Does your dog struggle with nail trims? Or ear drops? Or any other aspect of canine care or handling? This class is for you!

This six-week class meets for one hour on Thursdays starting June 17th at 6:30 PM. You will learn a set of tools you can use to help your dog feel more positive about being handled, even for things they now find unpleasant. The class is based on the principles of Training Between the Ears. There is a focus on relaxation and perception modification to help your dog see these tasks as good things. The class is limited to four teams so everyone gets a lot of time to work on the skills.

Stop fighting your dog to trim their nails, or give them eye meds! This class will get you and your dog on the track to stress free handling.

**Scent Work Drop ins**

Space is available on the following dates and times. Teams new to K9You are welcome.

Saturdays, 9:00 AM - 10:45 AM - Novice/Advanced/NW1/NW2 and beyond. June 13, June 27, July 11 and July 25

Saturdays, 11:00 AM to 12:45 AM - NW3/Elite/Masters/Detective
June 13, June 27, July 11 and July 25 (only a few spaces left!)

Thursdays, 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM - Novice/NW1 - Dogs need to be familiar with Birch, Anise and Clove and be doing simple searches. This class will be building skills for ORT, NW1 and AKC Novice trialing working on all the elements - HD, Exteriors, Interiors, Containers, Vehicles and Buried.

Scent work class openings at K9You..

We have drop ins scheduled for Saturdays, April 11, May 2, and May 16th
9:00-10:30 AM - Advanced/Excellent/NW2-NW3 levels
10:45-12:30 - Masters/Detective/NW3/Elite levels

We also have two spaces in the Continuing Beginners class. This is a six week session that starts on April 16th, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
Continuing Beginners is appropriate for a dog that has been introduced to odor and is ready to be introduced to searching - interiors, containers, exteriors. This is a great class, as well, if your dog is searching and you are having difficulty reading your dog.

Nosework drop ins! K9You will be holding a limited number of nosework drop ins on Saturdays.

Spaces are open for February 21st, March 7th and March 21st, 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. These sessions are geared for dogs working at the Advanced/Excellent/NW2 levels. NW1/Novice dogs ready to advance their skills will also be welcome. Drop ins are $35.00 each.

Beginning Nosework class starting February 19th!
We will be holding a Beginning Nosework class on Thursday evenings from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM from Febuary 19th to March 26th. The class included six sessions for $200 per team. Class is limited to six teams.

Beginning Nosework will introduce your dog to searching, building search drive, introduction to odor, building an indication (some dogs will have an indication by the end of the session), and introduction to simple searches.

This class is appropriate for any age dog, with any level of training. Dogs will be working one at a time and crated while not working.
