🔴UPDATE: He is now @ Harbor Humane Society🔴 Help! A Good samaritan found this sweet man at Helder Park this AM. He was brought to us to scan & there is no microchip present. He will be brought to Harbor Humane Society today once they open. Please let us, or Harbor Humane Society know if there are any leads. Thank you in advance 🖤🐾 Let’s get him home!

🚩🌳We are seeing a rise in tick borne blood diseases here @ OAH (& in MI overall)🌳🚩 There are many diseases your pet can contract from a single tick bite. Attached are maps representing the most common tick borne blood diseases we see in 2026 so far. As a gold standard practice, OAH wants to offer the best products to protect your beloved pets. Our newly recommended all-in-1 prevention for dogs is Credelio Quattro. Studies have found that this is the most effective product for ticks, killing them off before diseases are transmitted. This product has the longest half-life, ensuring that our pets are still protected @ day 30. OAH is offering a 1st free dose (though every dog is different & we may have a different recommended product for your pup!). We are excited to announce our upcoming Ottawa Animal Hospital Vet for the Day! event, designed especially for 4th–8th grade students! This unique experience offers an exciting glimpse into the daily life of a veterinarian and aims to inspire the next generation of veterinary professionals.

Event Details:
Date: Saturday, July 25th
Time: 9:00 AM – NOON
Location: Ottawa Animal Hospital East, 2691 120th Ave. Holland, MI 49424

During the event, students will enjoy hands-on activities, fun games, snacks, and pet enrichment items. Each participant will also receive a sovenier to take home as a memento of their day.

Admission is $35 per child, and all proceeds will be donated to the Paisley Paws Charitable Veterinary Foundation.
