It is a great honor to have become the owner of Top Gun Taxidermy. I take on this responsibility with a great sense of pride and overwhelming sadness. I was fortunate enough to spend many years of my life standing in the shadow of Randy Pistole. Randy is the finest role model anyone could ask for in every aspect of his life. He loves his wife, children and family with a tenacity most of us will never have. He cared for his family, home, business and church with passion, love and dedication. I have never met a more kind, honorable man than Randy. It was humbling to watch the way he treated everyone equally. From struggling students to the wealthiest business owners there was no discrimination on age, race or social status. His contagious smile was given to all of them equally. We could talk for days about all his humbling personality characteristics, his love of nature and the wildlife in it, or his love for his family but, when you think of Randy what most of us think of is a gifted and talented artist. Few men have ever had the ability to practice the art of taxidermy at the level he did. He is one of the most talented artist of our time. During his career he created hundreds if not thousands of masterpieces that will stand as the center of attention inside of our homes for a lifetime. I know how lucky I was to stand in his shadow for those years and to be the only person he ever trained to practice the art of taxidermy. After twenty years of mounting animals he chose to pass his knowledge off to me and I will forever be humbled by that and grateful for it. He is truly a living legend and will always be one in my heart. I greatly appreciate everyone’s support with this transition and apologize for any delay that this has caused our customers. We are trying our best to get y’all’s trophies back to you as soon as possible. Please be as patient as possible and know I am working around the clock to give you the quality and level of service that only Randy could have provided. I thank y’all for making the move to Davilla with me and I’m sorry for the inconvenience of no longer being in down town Holland. I look forward to seeing you all soon shoot straight and happy hunting! Lee Lackey
