I just love this little pup! She loves nothing more than to be working! Tonight we did some scent work training, rally/obedience training and got some stacking practice in as well.

The difference between a nervy vs stable dog. I have had both. And the world of a difference a stable dog makes!

Today we walked downtown, stopped by my favorite restaurant to find the only thing I like to eat is no longer there, so we went to another but not before stopping by one of the boutique stores. Aphrodite was all tail wags and super happy. This was her first time to any of these places, the restaurant we ended up at was on the water and she’s never seen a boat or been to a restaurant on the water. She was a bit unsure of all the floating boats at first. BUT it took her no time to process that they weren’t anything scary and she was able to settle down on her mat and enjoy a chew while we enjoyed dinner. It’s perfectly normal for a puppy to be unsure of something they’ve never seen before! I let her figure it out on her own, I didn’t coddle her and tell her it’s okay, etc. she was able to process it on her own and relax.

This little pup continues to impress me day after day with just how resilient she is.
