Meet Dasher — aka Dash aka Dash Dash 40 Yard Flash 🐾⚡

This 6 month old lab is ALLLLLL puppy. His energy is absolutely endless, and he’s always ready for the next adventure. Whether he’s spending the day at Southpaw or at home living his best life, Dash is nonstop fun.

His favorite activities include:
🐶 Walkies
🪵 Chewing on sticks
🌊 Swimming in the lake
🎾 Playing literally all day long

Naps? Optional. Chaos? Guaranteed. 😂

One thing’s for sure — if you’ve got a treat or two, you’ve got yourself a best friend for life. ❤️

Dog of the Week: Nova 🐾

Warning: excessive beauty ahead. Nova is the kind of gorgeous that makes you do a double take… and then a triple take… and then immediately grab your phone for pictures 📸

This goofy Rottweiler is equal parts stunning and silly. She loves her walks, believes every dog and human is her new best friend, and has absolutely no concept of personal space. If you’re within reach, you’re getting kisses—no exceptions 😘

Honestly, just look at that face. It’s unfair how pretty she is. Let’s all take a moment to oooo and ahhhh over Nova because WOW 💕

Planting for the future at Southpaw 🌱🐾

Today we partnered with the Tri-Basin Natural Resources District to plant 150 trees as part of a windbreak project on our property!

Projects like this don’t happen overnight—windbreak planning, site prep, and cost-share programs all play a huge role in making it possible. We’re incredibly thankful for the NRD, NRCS, and conservation programs that help landowners invest in their land the right way. 🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲🌳

This windbreak will provide shade, protection, and long-term benefits for our dogs, wildlife, and property—and we’re just getting started 💚

Meet Cooper — a proud Southpaw Obedience graduate and one of our awesome daycare regulars! 🎓🐶

This guy brings the energy every single day. Whether he’s zooming around with his friends or soaking up all the love from staff, Cooper is always excited to walk through the doors at Southpaw.

And when he’s not here? You can probably find him cruising along on a motorcycle ride, living his best life with the wind in his fur. 🏍️💨

Penny is a Southpaw Obedience Graduate and one of our daycare & boarding regulars! She’s a big lover, incredibly well behaved, and so in tune with her people—especially her kids. 🥹

Her family says it best—she’s been with us since she was a pup, and they trust she gets the same love and care here as she does at home. And Penny? She gets SO excited every time she comes to Southpaw! 🐾
