At Hartfield Veterinary Clinic Urgent Care in Mannford, we provide weekend urgent care services for dogs and cats when your regular veterinarian may be closed. From upset stomachs and injuries to sudden illnesses and even major emergencies, we’re here to help give your furry family members the care they need.

Weekend Hours:
Friday: 6 PM – 10 PM
Saturday: 8 AM – 10 PM
Sunday: 12 PM – 5 PM

🐾 National Rescue Dog Day 🐾

Today we celebrate the incredible dogs who got a second chance—and the people who gave it to them. Rescue dogs come from all kinds of backgrounds, but they all share one thing in common: the ability to love unconditionally.

Whether they were found as strays, surrendered, or saved from difficult situations, rescue dogs have a way of becoming the most loyal companions. They remind us that sometimes the best dogs are the ones who choose us right back.

At Holdenville Veterinary Clinic, we’re proud to care for so many amazing rescue pets in our community. From their first visit to a lifetime of care, it’s an honor to be part of their story.

This is Foster, rescued by Dr. Hood as a young pup. He’s grown into a wonderful companion and is a perfect reminder of how life-changing rescue can be—for both pets and people.

Heartworm disease is a HUGE problem we see this time of year — and unfortunately, we have already diagnosed multiple dogs with heartworms this season.

Heartworms are spread by mosquitoes and can cause severe damage to the heart and lungs. In many cases, pets may not show obvious signs until the disease has already progressed. Treatment can be expensive and hard on your pet, which is why prevention is so important.

The good news is that heartworm disease is preventable!

We offer:
• Heartworm testing
• Monthly and long-acting preventatives
• Heartworm treatment options

at ALL of our clinic locations.

If your dog is not currently on prevention or is overdue for testing, now is the time to schedule an appointment. Protecting your pet is much easier — and safer — than treating heartworm disease later.
