Welcome to November, Northwest Arkansas. 🍂🐾

As a local 501(c)(3) non-profit, our mission is simple: we give heroes a life-saving psychiatric or mobility Service Dog at zero cost, and we build a community so they never have to heal alone.

Not just once, but twice, Harriet's Dream Fund has stepped up with generous donations that have completely transformed our operations. Their financial support has been vital in covering mounting veterinary bills, securing essential gear for our rapidly growing puppies, and allocating direct funding to the veterans and first responders in our program.

Building an elite psychiatric Service Dog takes thousands of hours of ADI-aligned training, but we must cover the baseline first. 🐾

Because Paws Forward Foundation provides Service Dogs to Northwest Arkansas veterans and MST survivors at absolutely zero cost, we rely entirely on this village to equip our working pack. Today, we have two massive goals to keep the Lifeline moving:

We need to talk about the hardest step in trauma recovery: showing up. 💙

When you are navigating Military Sexual Trauma (MST) or severe PTSD, the idea of attending a "self-defense" or "combatives" seminar can sound intimidating, exhausting, or even triggering. We completely understand the hesitation. Your nervous system is already working overtime.

That is exactly why our upcoming November events at Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Northwest Arkansas Centerton are not traditional, high-pressure boot camps. They are carefully engineered Safe Harbors.

Here is what you can actually expect:
🛡️ Total Control: You set your own boundaries. You participate only as much as you want to.
🛡️ Peer Support: You will be surrounded strictly by fellow veterans and survivors who understand the weight you carry. No judgment, no expectations.

As a local Northwest Arkansas 501(c)(3) non-profit, our mission is to answer the silent cry of veterans, first responders, and survivors of Military Sexual Trauma (MST). Trauma causes profound isolation. We defeat that isolation by forging life-saving partnerships between a healer and a hero—always at zero cost to the handler.

🇺🇸 On Saturday, November 7th, we are taking this mission to the streets.
We will be marching in the local Veteran's Day Parade, and we want our entire village marching with us! Whether you are a veteran, a trauma survivor, one of our incredible volunteer Puppy Socializers, or just a supporter of our mission, we want you in our marching unit.

At Paws Forward Foundation , we do exactly two things: we engineer elite medical-grade Service Dogs, and we build the confidential peer sanctuary you need to heal. 💙🐾

If you are navigating Military Sexual Trauma (MST), severe PTSD, or the transition back to civilian life, isolation is your biggest enemy. We are a Northwest Arkansas 501(c)(3) non-profit fighting that isolation through a strict, dual-pillar standard of care.

First, we train the Lifeline. We align with Assistance Dogs International (ADI) protocols to forge Service Dogs capable of life-saving psychiatric assistance, cortisol scent-alerting, and heavy mobility bracing (we do not train guide dogs for the blind). These dogs are provided to veterans and survivors at absolutely zero cost.

Second, we build the Safe Harbor. A dog is a tool, but the handler must also reclaim their own nervous system. Our trauma-informed support network is designed specifically for you to rebuild your physical boundaries alongside peers who understand the weight you carry.
