When we had this boy returned to us several months back, he was completely unmanageable on leash. We took him from being unmanageable to an adult, to yielding to a child on leash. We even did a little bit of loose leash work today and he did great. We are so pleased with his progress! He will be heading out to his new home on Sunday. We're wishing him the best of luck and success for his future..

I've learned that in working with dogs to expect the unexpected. We just had our first unexpected litter of Ridgeback Shepherds. This happened under someone else's care. I've never had a litter of pups look more "not like the mother" than these pups. They look just like Rhodesian Ridgeback pups with maybe slightly longer hair. Each one has a beautiful little ridge. Guess those Ridgebacks have some dominant genes.😆

This is Sugar Paws Savage. He is an energetic and good-natured boy. He has an adorable white heart patch on his chest and an an absolutely gorgeous ridge. He is 90 lb at 9 months old. He is a pup from Lacey and Odie and is 1/4 South African import lines. He has excellent genetics. His sire and dam have their OFAs. He is house and crate trained, knows basic obedience commands and is working on improving his leash training. He gets along well with other dogs and is friendly towards people.
We would like to consider him for a program similar to ours where someone is looking to improve the genetics of the Ridgeback. His sire and dam were Embark DNA tested. He does not carry for DCM, which many Ridgebacks do.
He will be considered for pet homes, but also for like hearted Rhodesian Ridgeback programs. Full AKC registration will be considered for those who are committed to improving the structure and genetics of the Rhodesian Ridgeback. Please contact us to be considered as an applicant.

Our girl, Aster, just got her obedience 1 graduation certificate. She will be her dog dad's companion as he goes through dog training classes to be a certified dog trainer. We are so proud of both! We're looking forward to getting some titles for Aster. She has such a phenomenal disposition.

Introducing Olive, 7 months old daughter of Lacey. She is clear of line breeding and genetically clear. Her sire and dam have their OFA certifications. She is one quarter South African lines. She has a lovely, sweet natured disposition. She is attentive, gentle and willing to please. We have plans to take her places, starting with her Canine Good Citizen title. We are delighted to add her to our program.

Meet our sweet little girl Olive from our current Lacey and Oddie litter. Her sire is from import lines. Both parents are OFA hip and elbow certified and DM clear. Her sire is also OFA thyroid and heart certified. Both parents are Embark tested. Olive is 100% genetically clear. She is a big, solid girl with a fantastic ridge. We are excited to make her a part of our pack.

Pups are growing so quickly and doing great! We have one little sweetie that we are substituting feedings for. She's smaller than the rest and just can't compete. She's gaining weight and is a determined little girl.

Both sire and dam are Embark DNA tested for genetics. They are also OFA hip and elbow certified and DM clear. Pups in this litter are genetically looking great and are not at risk for anything.
