Flea and tick season is upon us.

This week alone, I have found 3 ticks on dogs.

Please be sure that your pet is on flea and tick prevention.

For owners, spray yourself and specifically your shoes with a deet bug spray repellent.

Check yourself and your pets after each walk or being outside.

I highly recommend buying tick twisters for easy removal. Amazon has a 3 pack for less than $5.

If you, your child or your pet is bit by a tick, Save the tick in a ziplock (or similar) bag and watch the bite mark for a few days. If red ring or rash occurs, see a medical professional and bring the tick with you.
