Two cuties are looking for new homes. Both are boys. Raised outside. They are a bit timid because we can't because of allergies love on them as much as we would love to, but they are brave little rascals!

Well I earned something today at the Alabama Taxidermy Associations convention that I did not expect. Didn't expect it to the point of not even hearing what the award was given for and being dumbfounded enough to forget to put my sandals back on to go receive it.

I'm super humbled to get this very prestigious award that is given to an upcoming artist. It means the world to me that my seniors and teachers (and friends) thought I deserved it. I work hard to better myself every day, I try to learn from each mistake and I try not to be scared to try the next hard thing. The fact that my efforts have not gone unseen and have been noted makes me feel so thankful to have these people in my life that support me in all my efforts. Without a lot of you (you know who you are) I would not have gotten here and wouldn't be able to go farther, so really this award belongs partially to all of you.

Thank you.

I had an absolute blast again at the ATA show. It's hands down one of the highlights of my year. Get to talk taxidermy all weekend long! We have such great people in the association, I owe so so much to this show and I was so happy I could be in the board this year to get to help arrange the show and welcome new members into our ranks!

I have come long way in just a couple of years to win blue ribbons for all my three entries (a pheasant, a widgeon and a wolf spider)! And the best of gategorys for both birds! I even got a nice little trophy to tote home!

I better look at the blues untill my eyes pop out, since next year I will try the masters!

It's starting to look like a shop now! I'm super excited about the new year! I feel like this coming year is going to be full of good thing to come. Nothing is ever perfect, but we make the best of it.

I've had a couple of rough years personally. I been wrestling with a lot of exhaustion, anxiety and depression. Like everyone I seem to talk to. The corona was not really what caused my problems, but I'm sure it didn't help. I've been doing a lot of inner examination and trying to find the root causes of my issues. It's been like pealing layers of onion off. There is always another problem behind the first! But I'm feeling better about myself, my needs and wants. I think this year I will really get to work towards my goals and it is giving me renewed energy.

I'm exited to have my own space to keep doing this work I love. Working on my own I can express better my creativity and artistry. I'm going to concentrate really hard on getting better at my anatomy and technique.
We will see you at the top!!

Happy New Year to everyone and may this one be better for all of us!

I wanted to let everyone know that I'm no more situated at Fancher's Taxidermy and Deer Processing.

I have had a good four years under the eves of the Fanchers shop but the time came for me to fly the nest. I will be working independently from home for now.

For any inquiries or questions please don't hesitate to call me on 205 412 8342.

I hope everyone is having a good holiday season and great hunting season!
