The Fast & the Furriest 5K run/walk, co-hosted by Delaware SPCA and Delaware Humane Association, takes place tomorrow, Sunday, October 3 at Rockford Park! Enjoy a beautiful fall morning with other animal lovers while raising awareness and funds for our lifesaving mission. Pre-registration check-in and day-of registration begin at 8:00AM at Rockford Tower.
The family-friendly event will include a raffle with items donated by Delaware Running Company, Deerfield Wines, Brew Ha Ha, Trader Joe’s, Giggy Bites Bakery for Dogs, and more. Light refreshments will be available, and Jay's Fil-Am Mobile Cuisine will be on hand selling breakfast sandwiches and handing out complimentary coffee. Johnny B from the 99.5 WJBR morning show will serve as emcee. Best of all, adoptable dogs will be on site to meet prospective new families! Looking forward to seeing you there!
