We have a 1.5 year old male from our beautiful Rita x Savvy litter available through no fault of his own. He's a total sweetheart and would make a great family pet or obedience/show prospect!

He's great with:
•Dogs
•Cats
•Chickens & livestock
•Kids & strangers

Healthy, UTD on vaccines, crate trained and respectful. Has shown no prey drive and does not have a dominant personality- he fits right in with other dogs. Takes treats gently too! He knows all his basic commands including sit, down, stay, & has a great heel on leash with cloth collar. He also has points and a major toward his AKC Championship in conformation. 🏆

This boy is smart and wants to please! But he is young and has typical puppy silliness, so we do not recommend him for a home with children under 6 or those inexperienced with large breeds. Sometimes it really only takes one! Our little Sonia x Leo singleton has come so far in just a short amount of time!!

In February, Niko attended AKC Meet the Breeds in NYC as an ambassador for Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. He met hundreds of people and loved all the attention, being the confident little star that he is.

At the beginning of March, Niko won a Working Group 1st at his first puppy Match show with Dana.

After that, he won two BPUP Group 1s, two Group 2s, and a Group 3 at the Celtic Cluster in York, PA.

Last week at the Blue & Gray Cluster in Harrisburg, PA, he was awarded Best 4-6 Month Puppy in Show under Ms. Edweena (Teddy) McDowell. He went on to win another BPUP Working Group 1 the following day under Mrs. Linda Hurlebaus.

On Sunday, 2 days after turning 6 months old and graduating to the regular competition, Niko was awarded Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and Best Puppy in Breed under Mr. Fred Hyer.

We are SO proud of this puppy boy and cannot wait to watch him grow. Thank you to Kira for showing him and loving him as much as we do!

A great Sunday at the Westminster Kennel Club meet the breeds in NYC!
Daisy (Apollo x Dani) and Niko (Leo x Sonia) attended as terrific ambassadors of the breed.

Another MAGs specialty in the books! Every year this show is so fun and this year, our crew certainly did not disappoint!

Over the course of the weekend we left with 2 new champions and some “firsts”!

The baby specials had themselves a DAY!

Best of breed for Appa and Best of opposite and Owner handled BOB and OHG4 for Twister (with Kira) for HUGE wins the day before our specialty. So proud of these young dogs and so happy to be here to show this weekend despite the cold 🙂

Our last Sea Creature baby is looking for a the perfect home! 🪼🦈🐳🐙
Green boy is our pick puppy and has hung around a little longer as he is in search of a home, preferably close to us, so we can check on how he’s growing and possibly show him in the future!

With that being said, an awesome home is what he deserves, with or without the possibility of being a show dog. If you have interest in this adorable guy, PM!

Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Club of America National and Independent specialty (Lake Shore) 2025 in the books!

Without Kira & Andrew this wouldnt have been possible. We’re so lucky to have friends who care about these dogs success as much as we do, and I don’t know what we ever did without them🥹

Had only been to one dog show prior to this, where he was passed around in a busy show environment and handled it like a champ, so we had no doubts he would have a great time on an even bigger stage… he did not disappoint!
•first in 9-12 puppy dog at the national AND the regional!
•first in his sweeps class at the national and placed fourth at the regional
• and, to top it all off, BEST PUPPY in national specialty
Thank you to his mom Colleen for sharing him and giving him an excellent start to training at home! I cannott wait to see this boy again soon!

Now for the fun- at the costume contest/parade, Huck and Kira went as Secratariet and his Jockey, winning best supporting actor. Daisy and Andrew went as Chewbacca and Princess Leia winning best supporting actress.
