The crew is off to work cows!

For the next few weeks, we will be gathering cattle and preparing to ship calves. We do this every summer when our calves are old enough to be weaned from their moms and are ready to be transported off the ranch.

Florida is known as a cow/calf state meaning most calves born and raised in the Sunshine State will be shipped to other states to be fed, finished, and eventually processed into beef. Adams Ranch is a little different from most Florida ranches since we keep a number of our own calves to be fed in North Florida for our program.
