Here’s a fun throwback for a Sunday!

Pictured here is former President and First Cowgirl of Oklahoma State University, Burns and Rhonda Hargis. President Hargis is aboard Le Pine Gal, a mare born and raised at Berry Livestock in Hobbs!

Famously known as “BB”, the mare was in Stillwater competing in the breakaway roping and team roping for the OSU rodeo team and was volunteered for the President to ride. As typical with our bloodlines, the mare handled the pomp and circumstance with grace and made for a great memory for all.

Roanie had a great night with Quay Paul Howard at the Lea County Fair and Rodeo! Wish them luck as they rope today at the Spicer Gripp Memorial.

Congratulations to Quay Howard and “Roanie” on winning the Top Horse award at the Stout Ranch Rodeo!

Roanie is a gelding by our roan stud raised and started at Berry Livestock. He and Quay also frequent the PRCA trail in the calf roping.

We like to start them the right way, building trust and respect without fear, so that the horse continues to be a loyal teammate in every arena!
