Meet Waldo and his sister, S'more. ❤️

These sweet babies recently came into Riverside Kitten Rescue Inc.'s care in desperate need of help. Both kittens arrived with severely infected eyes and have already been examined by our wonderful veterinary team at Tri-County Vet.

We are fighting hard to save their eyes and give them the best chance at a happy, healthy future. Unfortunately, Waldo's condition is especially severe, and there is a possibility that he may require eye enucleation (eye removal surgery).

As many of you know, emergency veterinary care, medications, follow-up visits, and potential surgery can become very expensive very quickly. But Waldo and S'more deserve every chance we can give them. 🥺❤️

We also have some beautiful flowering plants and some unusual and hard to find herbs and vegetables provided by Groundworks!! 🎉

🐾✨ TNR FOR THE WIN!! ✨🐾

We’re excited to share that we’ve officially wrapped up TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) on a colony that’s been on our waitlist since last year. 💪🐱

This sweet litter was safely trapped over the weekend and got to rest comfortably in our brand-new Feral Recovery Cages before heading off to the vet. Having a calm, secure space to recover makes such a difference in their health and stress levels—and we’re so grateful to be able to provide that!

After surgery, the males have already been released back to their outdoor home, while the female will enjoy a little extra TLC and recovery time with us for another day or two. 💕

A huge THANK YOU to the Hinton Area Foundation for their generous grant! Because of their support, we were able to purchase essential supplies, replace worn-out traps, and invest in these incredible Recovery Cages. This is what community impact looks like—and we couldn’t do it without you! 🙌
