Hey everyone, it's been quite awhile! I figured I'd let everyone know that I'm available for hoof trimming on goats and sheep, along with livestock care consulting. Unfortunately due to my work schedule I'm not able to farm sit at this time. Feel free to contact me for more information!

With the cows off their summer grazing and other things winding down I figured now's a good time to catch up with you guys. I've had quite a few adventures these past few months, We've had a calf born at the farm (Our first ever Silver Beltie), after some pregnancy tests it's confirm that 6 more are to follow, I have been knocking out fencing and other maintenance projects, I assisted in transporting some cows on the Vineyard Ferry! As well as the daily care of all the Critters here. I would like to turn this page into a blog about both my experiences farming as well as others. Let me know you think and what you guys would like me to talk about

Hey guys! It's been a while since I posted on here, so here I am with good and bad news the craziness of 2020 has taken its toll on Roosts to Ranches. I am not able to farmsit as I've become a full time farmer myself! I'm working on trying to find someone I can mentor and carrying on with that aspect of Roosts to Ranches once things go back to normal. I will still be around to lend a hand with projects on your farms when I'm available and will continue to use this platform to educate about various farming topics. Hope everyone is well! I will be posting what's been going on with the Roosts to Ranches crew and about the new farm soon!

2020 Hurricane season showing up like "Oh is it my turn yet?"
Be Safe as the first of the Tropical storms arrives. Reminder to not only check your animals housing but also fence lines throughout the storm as safely as possible. Trees knocked down on to fences and shelters by storms could result in loose, sometimes panicked & injured animals

African Spur Thighed or Sulcata Tortoises, native to sub saharan Africa are perfectly at home in this heat wave and seemingly extra dry summer days, Most animals around here are not. Make sure you and your critters stay cool!
