Kat & Kritter's Foundation We focus on animals who are need of proper care, vetting, then we search for they're forever home.

Mission statement for our in home foster based 501c3 animal rescue-KAKF is a 501c3 group of volunteers who's passion for animals has led us into the animal rescue community. We focus on local animals that are homeless, neglected, abused, or need rehomed, and bring them to safety. We give them proper care, then connect them with they're perfect family. Our goal is to educate, rehabilitate, and pro

vide information on low-cost vet services, and education to end the mistreatment, and overpopulation of animals.

Home for the Holidays

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse...But maybe your new pet rat...Rats actually make amazing pets, they are highly intelligent and social animals. They can be trained to do tricks and like hanging out with their people. They are pretty clean as well with the right enclosure and can be litter box trained. Like our adorable girls, Lyra, Curi, Fermi, and Joule...They use the litter box and tend to keep their cage nice and tidy. They love to burrow under their blankets and curl up in their hides to sleep. These girls are a little shy at first but once they get to know you (and know you have treats) they are eager to meet you at the cage door when you come by. They will need some time and more socialization with a new owner but they are sweet girls who are just hoping for a forever home of their own. They can be adopted in pairs or better yet stay all together. Fill out an application at www.kakf.org/forms

Home for the Holidays
"IT'S SO FLUFFY!" That's exactly what you will say when you meet Lira and Lefty. These girls are the the absolute sweetest girls you will ever meet. They love everyone. They are great with other cats, love kids, fine with dogs. They came in to animal control from a hoarding situation with a lot of other black cats. They have been together their whole lives and are bonded now and need to be adopted together. But that is just more heat warmers for your lap this winter. They love to curl up with you for nap time and will keep you company on those cold winter months ahead. How these girls made it to this list is beyond us. They are so perfect.
