We are a Non-Profit, No Kill, All Volunteer Animal Shelter in the heart of Hilton, NY dedicated to helping feline friends in our local community find forever homes. Our shelter was named after the late Kathleen Anne Tenny, a life long resident of Hilton, NY & animal lover. Kathleen passed away in 1991 and left her estate to the Town of Hilton so that an animal shelter could be established in our c
ommunity. After many years of hard work and dedication, the Kathleen Anne Tenny Animal Shelter opened its doors on October 22, 2002. Happily in the last ten years we as a shelter have taken in, cared for and adopted out more than 1,000 cats and kittens. We happily assist in the placement of cats/kittens in our local area but due to space restrictions, can only take in as many as we have room for. Sadly, there are so many more that need assistance than we can accommodate.
