Cute little Wesley and his sister Bailey are enjoying a nice chew together. As the weather get colder it is great to be prepared with some indoor activities that can keep your puppies busy on really cold or stormy days. Bully sticks and they are a safe alternative to standard rawhide chews and dogs love them. Kongs filled with dog food and frozen are great for keeping dogs entertained too. You can also feed your dog his or her meal buy throwing little kibbles one at a time from the couch or a chair so that your little one has to "hunt" for his food.

Little Frankie is personality plus and waiting for his forever home at Cape Ann Animal Aid. This little guy made it out of Carson Shelter in Los Angeles just in the nick of time. Now all he needs is a family to call his own! By the looks of his video, a home with another playful little dog might be nice too!

A SWEET TREAT INDEED! Princess was adopted today! You may remember this photo of her from earlier this month. Her dream was to find a home in time for Halloween so she could show off her costume to her new family! What a wonderful way to end the day :)

Five more little cuties have made their way to Cape Ann Animal Aid from Carson Shelter in Los Angleles last week....but little Princess came last month and is still waiting patiently at Cape Ann for her forever family to come along and take her home. She is all dressed up and no place to go( yet)! She is very sweet! Anyone looking to add a little lovebug to their lives?

Do you like my outfit? I'm thinking about wearing it for Halloween! I am happy to meet new folks and enjoy getting my share of your time and attention. The shelter staff do not know why I have not gotten a home of my own yet since I am so sweet...All in due time I guess? But I sure would like a home before Halloween so I can show off my fashion skills with my new family!

A bit more about me...I am a 1 year old Chihuahua mix. I love soft beds, toys and other pups to hang out with. I am perfect apartment size (9lbs), and I fit nicely into the passenger seat of your car so traveling with me is easy. I am small but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy adventures outdoors and go on walks and hikes with you. Shelby was one of the first Carson shelter dogs to make her way to NH through ALO. She was adopted by a wonderful NH family!
(She had evidence of past leg injury and her 'time' at the shelter was up) Here is a photo, posted by her family, showing Shelby at the blessing for the animals. How her life has changed ~ one lucky little dog!
