🩷 WE’RE MOVING 🩷

We are incredibly happy to announce that Boxwood Boarding Group has leased a new facility and hope to be set up and ready to go by June. As many have heard, our current facility will be going up for sale in the coming months. While this was something we considered, there were multiple other factors that contributed to our decision to move. We have a couple of boarders moving out of the area, but the bulk of our boarders will be coming with us. With that said, we do plan on having a couple of stalls available once the time is right and we have established ourselves at the new place. More info to come on the location and amenities of our new facility.

Hey everyone! We still have 2 open stalls available at our barn. We have a wonderful group of boarders who care deeply about each horse in the barn. We aren't breed-specific or discipline-specific. Some of us stick mostly to trails, some do performance, and some do cows/timed events.

Hillsboro / Scholls, Oregon
Full Care: $600/month

Amenities include:

Hi everyone!
We're excited to start a new series on our page where we introduce some of the horses in our barn. Each horse has their own personality, routine, and story. We want to give people a chance to see the barn in action; not just the facility, but the care, connection, and community that we've cultivated here.

Our barn is not breed-specific by any means, nor is it discipline-specific. We have horses ranging from 3yrs-34yrs, coming from all different backgrounds. The most important aspect to us is that these horses are loved and cared for, not what they look like or what they do. Our hope is that these introductions give a genuine look at daily life here.

Whether you’re a current boarder, a friend of the barn, or someone curious about joining us in the future, we’re glad you’re here! 💛

INTRODUCING: Zara

Zara is an 8-year-old mustang from the South Steens. She’s starting her endurance career this spring!

Zara likes:

✅ Hanging out with seniors

Zara dislikes:

🚫 Rainy Days

Zara is such a joy to have in the barn. She is sweet, gentle, and easy-going. It's really cool to see all the adventures that her owner takes her on, including frequent summer rides through the fields around the property.

Who are we?
We're a group of boarders who have established a co-operative care program available in the Hillsboro/Scholls community.
Formerly known to the community as "Marilyn's Tack" the facility has sat vacant for many years. In the most recent utilization of the property, it housed a program that helped bring the barn back to the start of a vision which, we hope to further along as we grow.
