🩷 WE OFFICIALLY MOVED 🩷

Hello everyone! We are super excited to reintroduce ourselves after our recent move.

I’m sure you’ve heard some information about our previous facility recently. While we loved that facility and what it had to offer, there were major safety factors involved that forced us to make a quick decision to move all of our boarders and their horses. So, while we understand that people want information and details, we would love to move forward and focus on our current facility instead.

With that said, we are stoked to announce that we have officially moved! We are still conveniently located in the Hillsboro/Scholls area (centrally located from Hillsboro, Beaverton, Tigard, Sherwood). So far, our horses have settled in well and we are absolutely loving the calm, quiet nature of this facility.

When we got the keys to the new facility, it was quite rough. The previous leasers did not do the property or the property owners any favors. We had to do a bunch of junk removal, fencing repairs, arena work, etc. After a month of hard work, it has been so nice to sit back and enjoy the place for a bit.

Our new facility has:

* 15+ stalls
* Daily turn-out (weather dependent)
* 60x120 indoor arena with newly reworked footing
* Grooming stalls
* Hot/cold wash rack
* A small network of trails behind the property that goes along the lower Tualatin river
* A porta potty that is professionally cleaned weekly
* A large shared tack space (with locking doors)
* A 60x100 outdoor arena that we hope to use as a space for turn out or an outdoor obstacle course (it was overgrown when we moved in)
* Overhead sprinklers for the arena (half works, we will be having someone out to get the other half working)
* Viewing room
* High quality orchard hay fed x2 daily
* Owner provided grain fed 2x daily
* Water troughs with mosquito control
* Lots of natural shade and beautiful landscaping
* An amazing group of boarders who have stuck together through the chaos of the move
* A wonderful property owner who lives onsite
* Kid-friendly
* LGBTQ+ friendly

As always, we will continue to offer quality full
care boarding. We care deeply about the safety of each person and horse. There are still a few minor things around the property that need some attention, so while we do have current openings, this is not an official post looking for boarders. However, if you’re interested in reaching out, don’t hesitate.

🩷 WE’RE MOVING 🩷

We are incredibly happy to announce that Boxwood Boarding Group has leased a new facility and hope to be set up and ready to go by June. As many have heard, our current facility will be going up for sale in the coming months. While this was something we considered, there were multiple other factors that contributed to our decision to move. We have a couple of boarders moving out of the area, but the bulk of our boarders will be coming with us. With that said, we do plan on having a couple of stalls available once the time is right and we have established ourselves at the new place. More info to come on the location and amenities of our new facility.

Hey everyone! We still have 2 open stalls available at our barn. We have a wonderful group of boarders who care deeply about each horse in the barn. We aren't breed-specific or discipline-specific. Some of us stick mostly to trails, some do performance, and some do cows/timed events.

Hi everyone!
We're excited to start a new series on our page where we introduce some of the horses in our barn. Each horse has their own personality, routine, and story. We want to give people a chance to see the barn in action; not just the facility, but the care, connection, and community that we've cultivated here.

Our barn is not breed-specific by any means, nor is it discipline-specific. We have horses ranging from 3yrs-34yrs, coming from all different backgrounds. The most important aspect to us is that these horses are loved and cared for, not what they look like or what they do. Our hope is that these introductions give a genuine look at daily life here.

Whether you’re a current boarder, a friend of the barn, or someone curious about joining us in the future, we’re glad you’re here! 💛

Zara is an 8-year-old mustang from the South Steens. She’s starting her endurance career this spring!

Zara likes:

Zara is such a joy to have in the barn. She is sweet, gentle, and easy-going. It's really cool to see all the adventures that her owner takes her on, including frequent summer rides through the fields around the property.
