I kept the 2nd Chance page open because of all the memories of the dogs that were adopted. Many people sent pictures and information about the dogs after adopting as well as the pictures that we put on Facebook of the dogs to adopt. Hope people will enjoy looking through the site to see the dogs.

Soon after Tigger arrived at our rescue she had 11 puppies. All were very beautiful. She had 5 brown and black and 6 black with brown on them all the black puppies were male and one or two of the brown were male but rest were female. All were beautiful and as they grew before being adopted they were very sweet and playful. One of the families that adopted one of the black males sent us a picture of him and his brother that they had adopted a year or two ago. She said that the older brother was teaching his new little brother the ropes. I will show you their pictures so you will see how beautiful they both are now. The older brother is named Carson and the puppy is called Lincoln. Both cute names.

We wanted to share this good news about Melody. She was adopted by a wonderful family that has given her a very loving home. If you remember Melody was adopted and brought back 3 times before being adopted by these wonderful people. So happy that she finally has her forever home!!! The following is what they wrote us about her! The picture with the leash on is what they shared with us. The other picture is Melody before being adopted.

We adopted Melody, and wanted to share that she is fitting in wonderfully. She was 100% housebroken, came with quite a bit of training, and is very calm- Just what we were looking for! She has even learned to like the cat. Thanks, Mary Jane, for watching over her all this time.

Emma has found her forever home and is very much loved. So happy for Emma.

Ryan Blessing She has found her Furever home! Despite her world completely changing, she remains a very affectionate dog! She is dealing with some anxiety and was very apparent on her first night as she would breath very rapidly when resting on her first night here. Day 2 and she hasn't done that yet. She slept well thru the night but made her way into the office to do her business. She and I are now working on using bells to go out and leash training. She has a lot to learn but lots more love to give!
