Some people might look at this video and think is just two puppies happily playing with each other. What trainers see is the larger black dog subtly resource guarding the ball. It’s super important to learn about dog body language in order to recognize and prevent this behavior from getting worse.

Eros is overall a pretty confident dog but sometimes is startled by sudden loud noises. Here I was able to hold his attention and have fun even with people popping balloons near by!

This particular dog is very afraid of the world. He has been like this since he came home at 8 weeks. One way I help build confidence in dogs like this is to have them climb on things that are “scary”. He was hesitant at first but after a few tries he was climbing all over!

Chevy is my GSD. He has always had some vet anxiety so ways I help mitigate that is with treats, his favorite ball, and just me being with him. Never be afraid to do what’s best for your pet even if that means looking silly in front of people!

This is Scooby (muzzled dog). Scooby came into training because of his severe dog reactivity. His reactivity led to him redirecting his frustrations onto his owner in the form of some pretty serious bites. He has gotten so much better through training and I will post videos of his continued work! Here he is hanging out with one of my dogs, Chevy.
