I am looking for experienced homes only.

I have a couple litters that are more on the side that doesn’t truly like to be handled much. Not aggressive thankfully. But I’m looking to place the males only at the moment. So if you are looking for males that you’d be willing to work with a little with handling please reach out to me. They must go in trios. If you haven’t had rats in a couple years please reconsider reaching out. Meaning haven’t had them in 3+ years. I will post photos once I get them or I can send them to you individually. Also keep in mind some of these babies are red eyed.

So please reach out to me if you have experience with rats that do not like to be handled as much as others.

Some exciting news!

I have my down unders back. I thought I lost the line but a fellow breeder helped me with not totally losing that side of the line. Once these guys are out of quarantine I plan to pair them and work with the line some more. So watch for updates on them!

This is an update post.

While I’m still closed to the public, I am planning things still. I’m working more on my lines to get them where they need to be. This isn’t a post where I’m saying that I’m not breeding anymore or forever not placing with the public. It’s more of a I am working on what I need to. I’m hoping that these next few litters will help with that. I will still post my progress with my lines but the litters will not be available anytime soon.

All plushies are $20. Buy 3 or more and get free shipping. Please note that I can not replicate your rats unless they are a solid color. I can make hooded, ba****ck and solid. I can try to make variegated but they will not look like your own rats.

I’m only making this post so that everyone knows this. While I hate the drama sometimes it can not be avoided. So please fully read this. It’s for breeders and adopters.

If you work with and breeder that I do not agree with ethically I will not work with you. This goes for adopting from them as well. If you get rats off transport from these breeders and want rats from me know that I will deny you right away. I do not want my rats to be injured or worse by someone else’s rats that are aggressive.

I also want to address that if you are a breeder and message me seeking rats, please let me know that you breed. I do not want to find out that you breed from looking in the groups. It’s only the right thing to do to tell another breeder your intentions with their rats.

So if you’d like to know what breeders I do not do business with you can always message me and ask. This doesn’t just go for the rats in my state but all over the US.

I hate to make this post but it’s part of owning rats.

Unfortunately my rattery has an outbreak of mites and all rats are undergoing treatment and will be for the next few weeks. Do that means all adoptions are put on hold at the moment. Once these are cleared up I will make a post. Hopefully they do not becoming anymore of an issue. I never wish these on anyone. They are a pain. I’ve heard horror stories about how hard they are to get rid of and I’m hoping I caught them early enough and it wouldn’t be a major issue. So please be patient with me and understand I do not wish to spread these to anyone else and I am taking the extra steps I need to as a responsible breeder to get rid of these.

I just want to post that if you are shopping around for breeders please vet them on if they know their genetics. There’s plenty of breeders that are just breeding for the money. Always make sure that the breeder you go with doesn’t let their babies go any earlier than 8 weeks. Any breeder that lets their babies go before 8 weeks is one I’d stay away from.

I personally let my babies go home anywhere from 8 weeks and older. I do not do this for money. I do it for the betterment of the rats. If I were in it for the money I would have way more litters than I do.

Anyways I just wanted to point out that you should always vet your breeders and chat with them to get a feel of how they are. Always ask as many questions as possible. Now I leave you with this adorable photo of a past rat that I had.
