After a lot of thought and many difficult conversations with my family, I’ve made the hard decision to close the storefront for The Mystic Mutt.
This decision was not made lightly. I truly believed Highlands deserved a quality, reputable grooming salon, and I have absolutely no regrets about bringing my skills and passion back to my hometown. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, the current economy and the overhead of maintaining a storefront have made it financially unsustainable for my family.
To every client who trusted me with your beloved pets — thank you. It has been an incredible honor to care for them, love them, and earn your trust. That trust is something I have never taken lightly, and I am deeply grateful for every appointment, every referral, every kind word, and every relationship built along the way.
This is not goodbye to grooming. I will still be grooming in the area (or surrounding areas) soon, and I will update this page as soon as I am accepting appointments at a new location.
For clients with long-standing appointments already booked into the future, I will be reaching out personally. Some of you I have already been in contact with.
