Hi Floofy Pooch Family!

I’m so happy to share some great news — my Bell’s palsy has cleared up, and I’m officially back! 🙌🐾
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so I won’t be taking any appointments before the holiday, but I’ll be back to grooming on Monday.

I also have lots of appointments available before Christmas, so if your pup needs to look their holiday best, now is a great time to book!

A quick booking update:
You can still text me, but I’m starting to shift to my online booking system so requests don’t get lost or buried in my inbox. Even if the exact day you want isn’t available, I’ll reach out to set something up. The online system also helps me double-check all requests to make sure no one gets missed.

Hi Floofy Pooch Family,

I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to give you all a quick update: unfortunately, I’m taking a little break from grooming right now. I’ve come down with Bell’s palsy and currently don’t have full function on the right side of my face, which means I can’t groom safely or comfortably at the moment.

I really appreciate all of you for your ongoing support and understanding. As a one-person grooming operation, it means the world to me that you’ve all been so patient and kind whenever life throws a curveball. I’ll make sure to keep you posted on when I can get back to doing what I love. I'm not sure what that timeline will look like. It could be a couple of weeks, it could be a couple of months, but in the meantime, thank you for being the best clients a groomer could ask for.

When I started this business, I never could have imagined how blessed I’d be with the incredible clients and dogs that have become like family to me. Thank you for continuing to make Floofy Pooch such a special part of my life. I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love and seeing all your sweet pups again.

Floofy Pooch is Back in Business!
Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding while I took a (longer than expected!) maternity leave. Adjusting to life with a new baby has been a beautiful whirlwind, and I’m so grateful for your support during this special time.

I’m excited to say that I’m officially grooming again—on a limited basis for now. I’m currently able to groom 1–2 dogs a day, working around my baby’s nap schedule. This means appointments may take a little longer than usual, but rest assured, your floofy pooch is getting lots of love and care!

A few things to note:

No crating unless requested—your pups get to hang out in the house with us like part of the family.

If you’re on a tight schedule, just let me know and I’ll do my best to groom your dog straight through.

Large dogs or more time-intensive grooms will need to be booked on Saturdays.

Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart for sticking with Floofy Pooch. I can’t wait to catch up with all of you and your sweet pups!

Hello Floofy Pooch Family,

I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to each of you for your continued support in making Floofy Pooch Grooming Salon what it is today. It’s truly been a pleasure serving you and your furry friends!

I also want to apologize for the recent disorganization over the last few weeks. Between a death in the family, some illness, and the exciting news that we’re expecting a baby in January, it’s been a whirlwind! I’m so grateful for your patience and understanding during this time of change and scheduling challenges.

As we move forward, I wanted to share some important updates regarding our schedule. Since I’m due to have a baby in January, I will no longer be accepting large dogs for grooming until March of next year. I will continue to groom small dogs, however, until further notice.

If you’ve reached out for an appointment and haven’t heard back, please feel free to text or call again. I’ve been recovering from pneumonia and am just now getting back to scheduling.

Additionally, I’m currently training a new groomer to hopefully step in during my maternity leave. While nothing is finalized yet, I will keep you updated on any transitions.

Thank you again for your understanding, your patience, and your support during this time. You’re all such an important part of the Floofy Pooch family, and I couldn’t be more grateful!

Dear Floofy Pooch Family,

We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for your understanding and flexibility during this challenging week. 💖

As many of you know, my husband faced a health scare that led us to believe he might be having a heart attack. Thankfully, it turned out to be myocarditis, and he was released from the hospital just last week. 🙏

Unfortunately, I’ve also been under the weather with a fever for the past few days, which means rescheduling appointments has been a bit tricky. I truly appreciate your patience as I navigate this recovery process.

✨ Here’s what you can expect moving forward:

I will be reaching out to reschedule existing appointments as soon as I’m feeling better.
New appointments will be scheduled once I have a clearer understanding of my availability.
Your support means the world to us, and we can’t wait to see your Floofy Pooches back in our salon soon! 🐾
