While we continue looking for the perfect co-own home for Moira, she has been enjoying a special visit with our co-breeders at Blue Hill Swissys 🤍
Not only does she get extra time with the people who helped bring her into the world, but she also gets to spend time with her dad and grandma. It’s a pretty sweet arrangement for a puppy who hasn’t found her family just yet.
One of the benefits of taking our time in finding the right fit is that Moira gets to continue collecting experiences, meeting new people, and building confidence in different environments. Every adventure becomes another opportunity to learn.
A huge thank you to for the bonus family time, extra socialization, and for loving this girl as much as we do.
At three months old, Moira remains available to a co-own show home. Prior show experience is not required, and a co-own arrangement looks very similar to bringing home one of our companion puppies, with the primary difference being that we retain her breeding rights as part of our preservation program.

Show puppy opportunity! We can’t believe this sweet girl is still with us. 🤯 We’ve had several potential homes and families interested in this ball of sunshine, but nothing has stuck yet.

While Moira is still with us, we’ve continued building on the foundation she’ll take with her to her future home.

Lately, she’s been doing especially well with her leash manners and has become quite the pro at tether time.

Tethering allows Moira to be right in the middle of family life without being the center of attention. She’s learning to calmly observe dinner being made, kids playing, cats racing through the house, people coming and going, and all the other everyday happenings that make up a busy home.

Rather than feeling the need to participate in everything, she’s learning that sometimes the best thing to do is simply relax, take a nap, or settle in with a favorite chew. (A water buffalo horn is currently high on her list of approved activities.)

While we’ve continued working on basic obedience skills, leash manners, and crate routines, we’re also big believers that puppies benefit from learning how to simply be. Not every moment needs to be active or engaging. Learning to relax, observe, and settle comfortably into the rhythm of a household is an important life skill, and Moira has been getting plenty of practice with exactly that.

How has this sweet girl’s family not found her yet? 🤎🖤🤍

Moira is still looking for her perfect co-own home

While she’s still with us, we’ve been taking advantage of the extra time by getting a jump start on training for her future family. She’s been working on basic obedience skills, recall, simple leash work, crate routines, and all the little building blocks that help puppies transition more smoothly into their new homes.

Now three months old, Moira continues to show the moderate energy level and adaptable temperament we value so much in her pedigree. Much like both her mom and dad, she has the makings of a super-gentle marshmallow dog — easy to live with, affectionate, and able to settle comfortably into a variety of home environments.

Moira is available to a co-own show home, though prior show experience is absolutely not required. A co-own arrangement looks very similar to bringing home one of our companion puppies, with the primary difference being that we retain her breeding rights as part of our preservation program.

She’s a very loved little girl, and we’re looking for a home that will continue investing in her while enjoying her as a true family companion.

✨ Moira ✨

Our sweet girl Moira is officially looking for her perfect co-own home 🩷

At 10 weeks old, Moira has developed into a thoughtful, affectionate puppy with a moderate energy level that would fit well into a variety of homes. In so many ways, she mirrors both her mother and grandmother — steady, adaptable, and easy to live with while still carrying the presence and qualities we value so highly in our program.

Moira is available to a co-own show home, but that does not mean her future family needs prior show experience. In fact, many of our co-own homes begin with little to no familiarity with the show world at all.

A co-own arrangement looks very similar to bringing home one of our companion puppies, with the primary difference being that we retain Moira’s breeding rights as part of our long-term preservation program. She would still live as a loved family companion in her home, joining in everyday life just like any other puppy.

We are looking for a home that will love her deeply, enjoy her for who she is, and be open to partnering with us as she grows.

✨ One more weekend gathering at the Rosebud Motel ✨

A little last-minute, but sometimes you pivot when the weather does.

Tomorrow’s forecast is looking better than our originally planned date and time, so we’re taking advantage of it and hosting another socialization open house tomorrow, Saturday from 3:00–4:30 pm 🌿🐾

The Schitty Committee is eight weeks old, full of personality, and at such a fun age to meet in person.

This will be our last open house before puppies begin heading home, so if you’ve been meaning to come by, this is the perfect chance for one more round of puppy snuggles, playtime, and all the eight-week-old puppy chaos.

Whether you’d like to stop by simply to get your puppy fix or you’re interested in possibly bringing one home soon, you’re welcome to come meet the puppies, spend some time with them, and get any questions answered.

We still have limited availability, and every new visitor helps continue building confident, social puppies before they head home.

✨ Friday night plans at the Rosebud Motel ✨

The Schitty Committee is six weeks old today, and this Friday’s open house is going to be such a fun one.

At this age they’re playful, curious, and often in full shark mode 🦈🐾 — but if you stick around long enough, your lap may just become the perfect puppy bed 🌿🤍

We’ll be opening the yard again this Friday from 6:00–7:30 pm for another round of puppy snuggles, socialization, and all the six-week-old Swissy (and honorary Swissy — read: Doberman) chaos.

Every new face, sound, and interaction helps continue building confident, well-socialized puppies before they head home, and we love sharing this stage with friends, families, and anyone in need of a puppy fix.

🐣 If something was missing from your Easter basket yesterday… it might just be a Swissy puppy 🐾🥚

At almost six weeks old, The Schitty Committee spent Easter surrounded by eggs, spring colors, and plenty of puppy charm 🌷 These puppies are in such a fun stage — curious, playful, and becoming more interactive with each passing day.

We prioritize the right timing for each family and puppy, and sometimes — due to changes in our prospective puppy families’ circumstances, as is the case with this litter — a home or two may need to wait for a future litter. Because of that, we currently still have limited availability.

We’ll also be hosting another socialization open house later this week, giving interested families another opportunity to meet the puppies. And even if you aren’t ready or in the market for a puppy right now, come anyway to get your fill of puppy snuggles and antics! We love the extra socialization our puppies get from meeting as many people as possible before they leave our home.

✨ Socialization Open House at the Rosebud Motel ✨

The Schitty Committee is ready for visitors!

We’ll be hosting our first socialization open house this Friday from 6:00–7:30 pm to help continue building positive puppy experiences with new people, sounds, and experiences.

We’re planning to be out in the yard, weather permitting 🌿🐾. It will definitely be a little chilly for this one, but as long as we aren’t seeing rain, we’ll stay outside and let the puppies enjoy the extra space and grass tickles.

We’re hoping to host one or two each week over the next couple of weeks so the puppies can continue building positive experiences with new people and settings. More info to come later.
