A Message from The Frugal Fungi

Hey everyone, It’s been a tough week here at The Frugal Fungi. Our air conditioning units in the grow facility suddenly failed, and despite my best efforts, I lost the majority of my fresh mushrooms and a big portion of my spawn. As a one-man operation, this hit hard — both the crop and the momentum we had built up. I’m going to be closed for the rest of July so I can focus on cleaning everything out, resupplying, and getting the facility back to where it needs to be. I hate having to take this step, especially during peak summer growing season, but I want to come back stronger and healthier instead of rushing and risking more problems. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported this little mushroom farm — whether you’ve bought from me, shared my posts, or just cheered me on. Your support means more than you know, especially on days like this. I’ll be back August 7th at Zandstra's Farm and Greenhouse, ready to grow again. I’ll keep you updated as things progress, and I’ll have some fresh stock . I Appreciate all the understanding — this is a small business built one harvest at a time, and I’m determined to keep it going. Thanks again everyone.

Sorry yall but The Frugal Fungi and Jes the Chaotic Crafter will NOT be at tomorrows farmers market at Zandstra's Farm and Greenhouse. BUT HAVE NO FEAR! We will be back next Saturday same bat time same bat channel! We will be offering these "Pretty N Pink" oysters but what the heck we are also offering these THIS SUNDAY 10am to 2pm for curbside pick up. Message to reserve you mushrooms and pick up time. They tend to go pretty quick.
