Duke is 3 years old, 45lbs of pure love, and he's on the hunt for a family to call his own. He’s a happy, active boy who loves playing in the yard, running around, and splashing in the pool. Once he’s worn himself out, he’s all about cuddles and affection.

Duke is sweet, food-driven, and walks very well on leash (after a bit of play, of course). He’s selective with dogs, so he’d do best as the only pet or with a compatible dog sibling. Cats are an unknown. He is neutered and UTD on all.

Hi, I’m Charlie! 👋🏻

I’m 2 years old, about 60 lbs, and I’m basically a pro snuggler. I love treats (who doesn’t?), walks, car rides, and playing in the yard. I even know how to sit, shake paw, and lay down!

BEAR UPDATE: although we have had some potentials, none have worked out. He is still in need! He feels better with his daily fluids, but he needs to get out of the vet! Please contact [email protected] if you are able to help!

Update on Bear 🐻
Bear is still at vet. We have had some interest, but nothing confirmed yet. We do not know how Bear does with cats. He has kidney issues and needs daily sub Q fluids. We are not sure if this is forever or for next few weeks. Please email [email protected] for any inquiries.

PAWS HAS PUPPIES…MOM TOO


UPDATE: Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society, Inc pulled Goldie and her pups from shelter; sadly, four died so we have Goldie and her 7 puppies. We really wanted to give this family a chance at life and wanted to assure these puppies stayed with their mom to be raised properly; thankfully one of our wonderful volunteers stepped up and is fostering the whole family. We immediately had to take one of the puppies to the vet where he was hospitalized for several days with pneumonia, but luckily, he pulled thru and is back with his family. We also are treating Goldie for heartworm as she came to us heartworm positive. We will keep the puppies with their mom until they are about 12 weeks old so their mom can teach them how to grow up to be well mannered dogs. The moms do an excellent job of raising good, confident, well mannered dogs if they are given the time to do so, which is why pups should stay with their mom until about 12 weeks. They will be looking for homes at that point; please see their upcoming posts.

No, that is NOT a typo. This beautiful 5yr old Golden Retriever mix is Goldie. She is a stray that gave birth 3 weeks ago to 11 of
the cutest puppies ever….8 female and 3 male. Goldie and her babies can be saved from a high-kill shelter as we have a foster to take them in and care for the mom and her puppies; she is willing to provide a safe and loving temporary home until they are old enough to be separated, but we need funds for them.
