Some information for Lincoln County Residents!!

🚨👀 Attn: Lincoln County Citizens --- If you need a rabies vaccine for your own dogs or cats, LCAS is providing them Free of Charge, April 13th-17th. Just walk into the shelter between the hours of 10AM and 4 PM and get the one year vaccine for dogs and cats at least 16 weeks (4 months) or older. Protect your Pets!
P.S. Don't forget to put your cats in a carrier or trap.

April is National Heartworm Awareness Month. The southeast is a hotbed for this mosquito-transmitted disease in dogs and cats. There have been a number of generic topicals and a few oral products approved in recent years that carry a lower cost to prevent the disease. This is one of those diseases that can cost several hundred dollars to treat and can cause permanent and even fatal damage to a dog’s heart and lungs. Ask your veterinarian about options for prevention.

Happy vet tech week! We celebrated Saturday by getting scared together at Scarowinds! (Courtney missed this picture but swipe to see her in her favorite place surrounded by snuggly babies)
This practice is nothing without our wonderful support staff and techs. They keep us grounded, organized, laughing, and happy. We thank them for everything they do at work and outside of work.
