Proud to present our Premier Contender!!!

“A SHADE SHADY”

“A Shade Shady” is a 3-year-old gelding owned by Dr. Linda Jones at Walkin’ South Farms in Iron City, GA. He was bred, born and raised by Dr. Jones at Walkin’ South Farms and is sired by Dark & Shady out of Rockin’ The Runway, who is sired by I am Jose out of a JFK mare.
Shady, as he is known at the barn, was started by Nick Plafcan of Lonestar Stables and transitioned into his flat shod career with Alex and Caroline Sinden of Golden Oaks Equestrian Center in Hickory, NC. He has found his niche in the flat shod division and is presented as a 2026 Premiere contender by Alex Sinden.
Alex, Caroline, Dr. Jones and Shady would all appreciate your support in their debut performance at the 2026 Premiere in Split C to be held at the WHOA Spring Extravaganza.
