Lola's not a big fan of precipitation, so her mom reached out to us looking for a raincoat to protect her pup. Turned out it worked wonders: "I actually had to carry her into The Natural Dog, but she walked out with it on!!"

Seeking understanding adopter to give Honeycomb her second chance 😢

Honeycomb was adopted as a young cat, but due to the other cat in the home never accepting her, she finds herself back in our care waiting for the right match at 4 years old. While she's been back, she's been confused and scared. 💔 She isn't doing well in a shelter environment, and needs to get back into a home before she declines further. Please help us find that! 🆘️

Honeycomb's ideal home would be one with patient adopters that will allow her to find herself again once out of the shelter. She is a very sweet cat underneath her uncertainty, and very loving to her family ❣️ A home with few or no other pets would be best. 🐾 She handles other cats without aggression or incident, but she is simply uncomfortable with too many animals in her space, which is totally understandable!

We haven't been able to witness her playful side, but rather she seeks comfort in finding a small space to relax in 😌 Honeycomb would love a life full of kind people, sunbathing in windows and creating her own napping spots!

Our friends at Catawba County Animal Services are in dire need of help and we know nobody loves pets more than our customers! When you stop by our Hickory store in the coming days, we encourage you to consider donating a portion of your purchase to CCAS. We'll have a donation box set up and will get those items into the hands of this hard-working shelter team to keep these dogs and cats fed. It's a great opportunity to take advantage of our BOGO sales and donate any free items!
