A little update for everyone! 29 weeks along, and our little nugget is safe and sound. ❤️ Not too much longer until we get to meet our boy!!
My body, however, hasn’t been treating me too kindly lately, especially with the swollen feet, aching hips and stiff numb carpal tunnel hands. It’s gotten to the point where my hands are numb and rigid in the mornings, and it makes grooming very hard some days, especially when I have a lot of brushing, drying, or clipper work to do. It’s due to all this that I am going to have to continue to cut back on work if I want to be able to make it to May still working.
Starting the week of April the 6th, I will have to drop down to small and medium breeds only for full grooms, and only larger dogs that are either short haired bath dogs or very simple haircuts that can be done with my smaller clippers so I don’t have to grip onto tools for as long. My poor hands are in pain even on days off, and I know that I’m gonna have to ease up if I want to continue to make it to May and still be working. I’ll be reaching out to anyone that is still on the schedule for April that this may affect, but if you don’t hear from me, you can assume that we are still good for grooming!
I really appreciate everyone’s kindness and patience as I’ve adjusted through growing my little one. Having a baby isn’t always easy, but the willingness to adapt from all my clients has made it a much easier process to handle ❤️
Much love to all my clients and their furry babies
