We are hosting a Easter photo event at the shelter coming up soon! So excited to get to have this opportunity to raise some money for some dogs and cats in need ✨❤️🐱🐶

The Humane Society of Catawba County (HSCC) is partnering with Fast & Furriest Express Grooming by Sierra for a delightful Easter-themed photography event on Saturday, April 12th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Bring your pets and family for festive photos featuring a variety of fun props. For a $5 donation, you'll receive 1-2 edited photos emailed to you before Easter. The event will be held outdoors, weather permitting; otherwise, it will move indoors. Please check in at the front desk to make your donation and sign in, then proceed to the photography area.

All donations support HSCC's mission to care for animals in need.

Remember, all pets must be under control and on a leash at all times.

A not so happy update, but a necessary one. I must make the unfortunate announcement that at our first appointment with the OB yesterday, we found out that our little one didn’t implant properly or perhaps not at all after fertilization, and our journey into parenthood ended shortly after it began. It probably happened not long after we found out and I just didnt notice because we were so early on. I’ve got a ton of mixed emotions about everything, and it’s a very odd form of grief to feel over something that came and went so quickly. They assured me that my body will be back to normal soon and begin its normal functions, but for now it’s a bit confused with the lingering hormones.

I know my time will come to be a momma. It just sucks how hard the journey getting there can be. 💔 Work will be continuing on business as usual.

The Fast and Furriest Family is growing by 1! That will mean big changes this year for scheduling and life in general! We are so excited to step into our roles as parents and ask for patience and understanding as things change with scheduling and maternity leave! I will keep everyone updated both individually and here on Facebook throughout my pregnancy! ❤️

As of January 2025, I am only accepting new clients on Monday-Wednesday! My books are closed to new clients on Fridays and Saturdays for the foreseeable future to make sure I can get all my current clients scheduled in a timely manner. I am also not accepting any new XL breed clients (Great Pyrenees, Great Danes, Etc) at this time.

I AM still always accepting new clients of any breed under 90 pounds. I appreciate each and every one of you and always look forwards to seeing and caring for your pets!

61 dogs groomed since the beginning of December. 3 weeks of extra hours and extra days finally come to an end. I am tired. But so thankful this holiday season. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas!! 🎄

As a few of you may already be aware, we have lost a precious member of the Fast and Furriest Family. On Monday we were faced with the most difficult decision with our sweet boy Chuck, and yesterday we were given the heartbreaking but incredible honor of helping our sweet boy cross the rainbow bridge in the sky. Thank you to everyone who has been so understanding about having to reschedule and for all the kinds words and thought. Please have patience as we begin this new journey and learn how to navigate life without our darling little man.

Rest in peace my sweet darling. Until we meet again ❤️

Power has been restored! Thank goodness! Please bear with me as I work to get everyone from the past few days worked back into the schedule and get the salon back in order from the flooding. It’s going to be a crazy next few weeks trying to get everyone back on track so please have patience as I reach out to everyone and get dogs rebooked! I appreciate all of my wonderful clients that have commented or reached out with well wishes and offering help during these awful times. My thoughts are with all of those whose lives were uprooted and changed by this storm, and all the souls that have been lost to the devastation or have not been found at this time. Here’s to hoping we can all find some sense of normal in all this chaos. ❤️

Day 3 with no power and no timeframe on when it’s gonna be back on. Will keep everyone updated as we hear progress. Thankful to the dedicated workers at Rutherford Electric and Duke energy as they work to get this mess cleaned up and sorted out.

Also a huge shout out to the Lowe’s food deli in Mountain View, as their hot bar at the Chicken Kitchen is our saving grace. If you are without power and are in need of a hot meal, go to Lowe’s and get a plate for 8.99 with a meat, two sides and a roll or cornbread.

Power is still out with no time frame on when it will be back on, so the salon will remain closed until further notice. Keep us in your thoughts, we have 10 furry babies in our household to keep safe in all of this mess! Hoping that all who are without power get theirs back on soon! ❤️
