✨️Our last minute decision to take Ava's yearling, Fergie, to her first show made this weekend pretty exciting! We had a great time at the Michigan Apple Blossom Circuit LLC horse show at MSU! Fergie handled the whole experience like an old pro, and never really put a hoof wrong! Ava's job was to give Fergie a positive first show experience, and she did a fantastic job!
Ava and Fergie showed in halter, showmanship, longeline, and in hand trail. They held their own out there in some big classes with horses and competitors of all ages.
They say it takes a village to raise a youngster (horse or human!), and Ava and Fergie are no exception - they are so lucky to have such a big support system behind them!!
Thanks to Josh Lyons/Lyons Legacy for believing in Ava, and equipping her with the skills and confidence she needed to be able to take on this baby horse training project.
