We had an an amazing first show! All of our riders worked very hard, and we were awarded high point team! Everyone had amazing rides. A special shout-out to Aubrey, Anna, Amber, Sydney, and Sam for their blue ribbons! We want to thank everyone who helped make this show successful. And a shoutout to all of our amazing horses, we couldn’t have done it without them 🐴💛

Keep and eye out for our very own Haley Olivia Lesiow this Saturday!

You may have seen our new game day friend. Western, meet Triumph.

He's been patrolling campus for years, and is now leading the Broncos onto the field at Waldo Stadium.

Paired with the president of Western's equestrian team, Haley Lesiow, these two are taking the reins this season—catch these two this Saturday for the homecoming game as the Broncos take on Kent State at 3:30 p.m.

Western Michigan is hosting a virtual bronco bash event to allow clubs like us to get in contact with students in a safe way! On January 13th from 4-7pm, students can log into https://wmuevents.easyvirtualfair.com and visit our booth titled "Equestrian Team at Western Michigan".

This is a great opportunity for those interested in joining our team to chat with team members and get to know more about what we do here at WMU. Although COVID-19 has cancelled our show season for the semester, you can still join the equestrian team at WMU! We are looking for full time students that are interested in joining the team, receiving great riding instruction from great coaches and making new friends and connections. Due to Covid-19, Bronco Bash has been cancelled this year. We normally use Bronco Bash as a way to meet new students that want to join the equestrian team here at WMU, but just like everyone else in these times we have to adapt!
