πŸ’ HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
Whether you are a pet parent, a human parent, a step parent, a foster parent, an aunt, a grandma or a babysitter...
If you make a positive impact on someone's life, we celebrate you!

While you are managing school schedules or walking schedules, your dedication is what makes this day special.

For Kid Moms:
We celebrate your strength, patience, and the endless sacrifices you make to raise the next generation.

For Pet Moms: We recognize the bond with your "four-legged children" is a unique form of motherhood built on sloppy kisses and wagging tails.

For Both:
You get the best (and loudest) of both worlds! From late-night snuggles to the joy of a full house, you are truly cherished. 🩷

Ticks are a serious health risk for pets, as they can transmit dangerous illnesses like Lyme disease, Ehrlichiosis, and Anaplasmosis. These blood-sucking parasites are often found in tall grass or wooded areas and latch onto pets as they brush past. Because they are small and their bites are painless, they can easily go unnoticed for days while they feed.

Check Your Pet for Ticks:
Regular daily checks are the best way to catch ticks before they transmit disease. Run your hands over your pet's body, feeling for small, firm, pea-sized bumps.
Ears - Check inside and around the ears.
Paws - Look between the toes and around the pads.
Hidden Areas - Inspect the armpits, groin area, under the tail, and under the collar.
Face - Pay close attention to the area around the eyes and mouth.

Prevention:
Use vet-approved preventatives like oral tablets or topical treatments. Keep your yard's grass short to reduce tick habitats.

Symptoms:
Contact your vet if your pet shows lethargy, fever, loss of appetite, or stiff joints after a tick bite.

Cat Owners:
Never use dog tick medication on cats, as certain ingredients can be toxic or fatal to them.
