Some may say - “why is quality taxidermy so expensive? Does the job take you many, many, many hours? Are there thousands of dollars in materials?”
While quality does take TIME… and money for quality MATERIALS .. there is an old parable about a mechanic who fixed a problem on a car that no one else could fix, with only the tap of a hammer. And the bill read:
Hammer: $5
The knowledge to know exactly where to tap the hammer: $995
Make sure you choose a taxidermist that has the knowledge to lay that skin back on RIGHT! And expect to pay them for the decades of time, training, and long hours of trial and error that it took to perfect that 😀
